Deleting your PlayHub account
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, at any time. It takes about a minute and nobody needs to approve it.
How to do it
- Sign in with the email address you use for PlayHub.
- On your teams page, open Account & security.
- Choose Delete my account and confirm.
If you created a team, delete it first
A team belongs to more than you. Its roster, its fixtures and its whole season are shared with every family who joined, so we will not remove it as a side effect of you leaving.
If you still own a team, the app will say so and name it rather than going ahead. Open that team, delete it from its own page where the consequences are set out, and then come back. If you would rather the team carried on without you, ask us and we will move it to somebody else on the team.
What is removed
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery window, and we cannot restore an account afterwards.
- Your sign-in details, including your email address.
- Your profile and display name.
- Your membership of every team you had joined.
- Any messages or replies you posted, and where you had read up to.
- Your notification subscriptions, so alerts stop reaching your devices.
- Any link between you and a player you had been connected to.
What stays
Matches you recorded stay with the team they belong to — the goals, the times and the players involved. That record is the team's, not yours, and the rest of the squad would lose their season if it went with you. Your name comes off it: the events remain, no longer attributed to anybody.
Teams you joined but did not create carry on without you.
Removing a child's details
A player on a roster is not an account, so deleting yours does not remove them. Whoever manages the team can delete a player from the roster at any time, which removes their name and shirt number. If you are that child's parent and would rather not go through the team, email us and we will remove them ourselves.
If you cannot sign in
Email privacy@playhub-os.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. We will confirm once it is done, and we aim to do it within thirty days.
