Walk me through it

Setting up

How do I get my roster in?+
Type the names, or drop in the spreadsheet your club already sent you. It reads the columns itself — names, shirt numbers and positions, in whatever order they happen to be. You can fix anything afterwards.
Where do I find my club calendar link?+
Most club platforms — LeagueApps, GotSport, TeamSnap — have a “subscribe to calendar” or “iCal feed” option on the schedule page. Copy that link and paste it in. The season arrives sorted into league games, tournaments, friendlies and practices, and practices are kept out of your record.
What if the calendar gets something wrong?+
Edit it. Anything you change by hand stays changed the next time the calendar syncs, and so does any score you have recorded — the feed owns the schedule, you own what happened during the match.
Soccer or futsal — does it matter which I pick?+
Yes, and it cannot be changed later. Futsal adds the accumulated foul counter, which matters because the sixth team foul in a half concedes a ten-metre free kick. Everything else works the same in both.

On match day

How much do I have to record?+
Nothing beyond the score. Two buttons is a complete match, and the families following along get a live scoreline either way. Shots, corners, saves and cards are there when you feel like it and never required — plenty of matches are tracked with the plus button alone.
I tapped the wrong thing.+
Every scoring action gives you five seconds to undo it, and the timeline has an Undo last button after that. You can also edit or delete any event from the timeline for as long as the match exists.
What happens if I lose signal?+
Keep tapping. Events are recorded on your phone first and sent when the connection comes back, in the order they happened. The clock does not depend on the network at all.
Can somebody else help me track?+
Yes. In Staff & roles, give them the live tracker switch — they can run the sideline without being able to change the roster or the schedule. The two switches are independent on purpose.
Does the app have to stay open?+
On the phone doing the tracking, yes — keep it awake and on the tracker screen. Everyone watching can close theirs; they get a notification when your team scores if they have turned alerts on.

Families watching

What do parents have to do?+
Tap the link you send them. No app store, no account for the children, and nothing for them to pay — one season pass covers the whole team however many people follow it.
How do they get goal alerts?+
They add PlayHub to their home screen and turn on alerts from a match page. On an iPhone that home-screen step is required by Apple, not by us — notifications do not work from a Safari tab.
Can a parent see their own child rather than the whole team?+
Yes, once you link them. Open the roster, choose Family beside their player and send them the link. They confirm they are that child’s parent and then see that player’s goals, assists and saves alongside the team’s matches.
Is any of this public?+
No. Everything about a team is visible only to people who joined it, and none of it is offered to search engines. Nothing about a child is published anywhere.

Money, accounts and data

What does it cost?+
$25 for the team, for the season. One charge, no subscription and no automatic renewal. Everyone who follows the team is free.
How do I remove a player?+
Delete them from the roster and their name and number go with them. If you are a parent and would rather not go through the team, email us and we will do it.
How do I delete my account?+
From your teams page, under Account & security. It is immediate and permanent — see deleting your account for what is removed and what stays.
